Hello!

I’m Elise (she/her)

As a lifelong intellectualizer, I’ve learned how challenging AND rewarding it can be to reconnect with feeling—even the uncomfortable stuff—because we’re all just human after all. Shifting your “ugh” to an “ahh” is possible, and it’s rad what can happen when we’re able to face what is much easier to avoid.

I’ve always had an open-minded curiosity and appreciation for individuality that solidifies my passion for doing this work. If you’ve felt different, or misunderstood, like no one truly gets it, you’ve come to the right place and you’re not broken. There’s a way to reconnect with yourself and others.

I love helping people like ~you~ find peace within themselves and live authentically.

  • I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and prior to that a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University.

I completed my traineeship at Airport Marina Counseling Service in Los Angeles, providing individual therapy to adults of all ages and treating a wide range of presenting problems, including trauma, life transitions, women’s issues, relationship or family dynamics, depression & anxiety.

I have also worked in residential settings with children & adolescents facing high-risk mental health issues, including self-harm, identity challenges, mood disorders, and psychosis—always using a trauma-informed lens.

  • I aim for an engaging and flexible dynamic (with a sprinkle of dark humor—when appropriate). I bring a laid-back & practical approach both in & outside the therapy space.

I will push when necessary—we have work to do! But maintaining comfortability, trust, and openness is most important. I want you to feel safe in exploring exactly what it is you need, and bringing your truest self forward organically—in a way that feels right.

You have the answers and I’m here to find them with you. You deserve to be seen, heard, and accepted as you are, and I strive to create that space always.
